A BIT ABOUT ME
"Continuous effort - not strength or intelligence - is the key to unlocking our potential" Â Â Â Â Winston Churchill
I am originally from a small town in Alberta. Despite being far from the ocean, I was always fascinated by it and dreamed of being a marine biologist. I graduated high school in 2006 and then took 6 years off to have and raise my son, Aiden.

I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Victoria, BC, receiving an Honours Bachelor in Earth and Ocean Sciences and Biology, and a minor in Statistics. My degree was awarded in 2018 with distinction.

I am currently working on completing my Masters in Marine Biology at the University of Newfoundland. I conduct my research at the Ocean Sciences Centre in Logy Bay and live in Torbay.

What's next? I hope to be accepted into a PhD program in 2021!
